Rebecca Faulkenberry, Choate '03, leads Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark

The expense Broadway musical that seemed cursed and injury prone during its previews is now turning into a massive moneymaking hit. After the story line and music were heavily reworked, Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark has quickly become a record-breaking Broadway hit. The cast also underwent a face-lift and Rebecca Faulkenberry, Choate '03, was brought in to play Mary Jane - the female lead of the play. During the last week of 2011 it set a new record as the highest grossing musical in a single-week, raking in more than $2.9 million, placing it ahead of Wicked and The Lion King.
